The nightly epicurean journey begins with hand-tossed pizzettes emerging fresh and piping hot from the wood-burning oven. Chilled Gancia prosecco is the perfect, bubbly complement.
Starters to tantalize the taste buds include Ahi tuna carpaccio brushed with the chef’s special lemon oil dressing, Sicilian pesto marinated grilled shrimp salad served on a mussel, crab and cherry tomato ragu, and Tuscan minestrone soup scented with fresh basil.
Guests are then fully transported to a world of gastronomic distinction with an exceptional selection of entrées. Pasta is perfected in the form of lobster and mascarpone ravioli, prepared fresh and served with a light truffle beurre blanc; saffron risotto di mare with zucchini, shrimp, mussels and clams; and pumpkin and broccoli gnocchi served with a shrimp and grappa sauce.
Aptly, the fish offerings are superb, featuring grilled sea scallops with borlotti beans and pancetta; pan-fried tuna on a bed of linguini with artichokes and a tarragon veal jus; and grilled monkfish with braised radicchio and prosciutto served with creamy mascarpone polenta.
Prime meat selections include beef tenderloin served with Palo signature Barolo red wine sauce, garlic roasted rack of lamb with roasted shallots; crunched potatoes and herb jus; and baked chicken breast filled with escarole, raisins and pine nuts topped with a light marsala sauce.
Diners saving room for the delicious finales can indulge in Palo’s homemade tiramisu, chocolate soufflé with vanilla bean and chocolate sauce, pineapple almond ravioli and the decadent chocolate amaretto indulgence—silky milk chocolate and fresh raspberries on an almond and biscotti base with extra dark chocolate sauce.
The sommelier is pleased to recommend the perfect wine pairings to please guests’ palates and make an extra-special meal extraordinary. Palo’s extensive reserve wine list features selections that hail from some of the most mature vineyards in the world and highlight Super Tuscans such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Tignanello.
